Lovable custom domain not working or stuck pending

What it means in plain English

Your domain's DNS doesn't yet point at Lovable, or there are conflicting records.

Likely causes

• DNS records from Lovable's setup not added at the registrar.
• Conflicting old A/AAAA/CNAME records.
• DNS still propagating.
• Using a CDN/proxy in front without the advanced setup.

How to fix it, step by step

1. Lovable → Project → Settings → Domains → connect domain and copy the records it shows.
2. At your registrar, add them exactly; remove other A/AAAA records on the same name.
3. Domains bought through Lovable get DNS (A + verification TXT) and SSL set up automatically, covering both yourdomain.com and www.
4. Wait for DNS, then check the status in Lovable.
5. If you use Cloudflare proxying, follow Lovable's CDN/reverse proxy instructions.
6. Remember to also update Supabase Site URL/Redirect URLs to the new domain.

How to check it worked

• Domain status is active and the site loads over https.
• Auth emails link to the new domain.
